Wexford Co. Council on Aging Senior Expo Brings In Nearly 700 People

Close to 700 people packed the Wexford County Civic Center this morning for the Wexford County Council on Aging Senior Expo.

For more than 20 years this event has served as a one stop shop for information and critical resources for seniors.

More than 70 vendors attended the event.

Everything needed to cover daily and long term needs, including oxygen suppliers, eye centers and senior living centers were on hand.

They held raffles and giveaways, all in the spirit of having fun and educating older adults.

“As you age sometimes it can be more difficult to be mobile to and to get around to these different businesses to get information. This allows you shop 70 businesses and find out what they what they do and find out how they can benefit you,” said Executive Director of the Wexford County Council on Aging, Kathy Kimmel.

Every year they pick a theme.

This year it was old west, complete with dancing and live music.
