Police Asking for Help in Locating a Wanted Man
Police need your help finding a wanted man still on the loose.
Surveillance pictures show he was spotted Wednesday morning at a Wesco in Evart.
They say he violated his parole and has a history of being on the run.
Leslie Robinson has a lengthy criminal history.
At one point he was considered Northern Michigan’s most wanted fugitive.
Police in Missaukee County began looking for Robinson Tuesday when a deputy noticed a vehicle associated with Robinson in a field in Richland Township.
They searched for several hours, using a helicopter and K-9 units.
Police ended their search before 6 p.m. Tuesday night because they say there was not enough evidence to prove he was still in the area.
State police believe Robinson could be with a woman, but they have not explained their relationship.
The surveillance picture shows only Robinson.
It was taken around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Evart Wesco.
In 2016, Robinson was wanted for running a meth lab and assaulting a police officer.
He was eventually arrested several months later.
If you have seen Leslie Robinson, you are asked to call police.
