Referees at an All-Time-Low

For nearly a decade, the number of registered officials for Michigan high school sports has been on the decline.

It’s getting to the point where games need to be rescheduled because there simply aren’t enough refs on the field.

We took a look at the reasons why and the effort to reverse the trend.
