Kalamazoo Police: Woman, Twin Daughters Die After Driving Into River

Officer say they’ve found the bodies of a woman and her twin daughters after she intentionally drove into a river downstate.

Kalamazoo police responded to a call Monday night just before 11.

They say they were told by two girls a family member had drove her car into the Kalamazoo River.

Police say they rushed to Verburg Park, where they found the car submerged and two bodies.

The third body was recovered Tuesday morning.

Investigators say they’re still trying to figure out why this happened.
