Gunman of Texas Courthouse Heavily-Armed, Killed by Police

A suspected gunman is dead after Texas police say he opened fire on a federal building in Dallas.

Police say the shooting happened Monday at a federal courthouse building in downtown Dallas where more than 300 people were at work. One woman suffered minor injuries during the shooting while she was taking cover.

They identified the gunman as Brian Clyde, an army veteran.

They say Clyde was dressed in tactical gear when he opened fire.

Federal Protective Service officers shot him as he ran across a parking lot.

He later died at a hospital.

Investigators also found Clyde’s vehicle.

After checking it with a robot, police decided to blow the car up.

The FBI says they are still working to find a motive.
