U.S. Debates Military Action After Oil Tanker Attack in Gulf of Oman

The Trump administration is considering more U.S. military force in the Middle East after last week’s strike on two tankers in the Gulf of Oman.

The U.S. is blaming Iran for the attacks.

The tankers were carrying oil and chemicals when they were attacked near the Strait of Hormuz last week.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo says President Trump wants to avoid going to war with Iran.

But Pompeo says the U.S. is considering a ‘full range of options’ when it comes to responding.

Iran denies any involvement in the attacks.
