Hook and Hunting: Archery Open House

Anyone interested in learning about archery can come to the Carl T. Johnson Center in Cadillac this Saturday.

The archery open house allows participants to practice their marksmanship, while learning how to practice archery safely.

This is one of many events happening all over the state to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the state park system.

“People can come and they can try archery, they can try pellet guns, they’re able to ask a lot of questions we will have a lot of staff on hand. It’s just a fun day to open up the park and just have lots of stuff going on,” said Edward Shaw of the Carl T. Johnson Hunt and Fish Center.

All events will kick off at 9 a.m. at the Carl T. Johnson Center, including a touch the truck event and a raft regatta.
