Attorney General Nessel and State Police Say They Will Not Tolerate Vigilante Acts

Michigan Attorney General and State Police say they will not tolerate vigilante acts.

Dana Nessel’s office says a vigilante has been luring suspected online predators to public places in Grand Rapids.

State police say some of the violent interactions have been recorded and then shared online.

Nessel says those actions not only put people in danger, they get in the way of keeping kids safe.

She says vigilante acts can suppress evidence.

Anyone who is aware of suspicious online activity can report it to law enforcement using the cyber tip line.
