American Red Cross: Need for Blood Campaign

Did you know that only 3 percent of Americans give blood?

The American Red Cross has just launched their missing type’s campaign to urge the public to fill the gaps by making appointments and donating.

The campaign is using graphics to grab people’s attentions by dropping the letters A, B, and O from major company names, social media posts, websites, logos, and so much more to draw attention to the shortage of blood.

You can join the missing type’s movement by encouraging people to donate blood before hospital shelves turn up empty.

Another way you can get involved is by taking pictures with major signs that are a part of the movement to show what can happen when A, B and O are missing.
