Downstate Sheriff Arrests 22 People Accused of Being in Online Child Sex Sting

Police in Michigan arrested 22 people as part of an online child sex sting.

The suspects are all accused of soliciting sex with children.

The Genesee County sheriff announced the arrests Sunday.

He says all 22 were believed to be targeting children for sexual purposes in the region.

The sheriff said Monday that an online ad was posted to draw out suspects as part of the investigation.
