House Republicans Unveil Plan to Use Sales Tax at Pump for Roads

House Republicans are looking at taking sales tax money that you pay at the pump and moving it to funding roads.

The House plans to earmark two-thirds of the sales tax to road construction.

This is the House Republicans’ response to Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s call to increase fuel taxes by 45-cents a gallon.
