Traverse City Police Execute Search Warrants in Homicide Case
We have an update on the investigation into a homicide in Traverse City last week.
That investigation has stretched all the way to California.
Last Wednesday the body of 62-year-old James Chisholm was found by two people walking along Boardman Lake.
Police say Chisholm was homeless and had set up camp in that area.
Traverse City police say Wednesday afternoon they searched a home in Traverse City, as well as a home in Carmichael, California, a suburb of Sacramento.
They were assisted by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Division.
The home in Traverse City is on Newport Street.
Police have not named a suspect in the case, and say their investigation continues.
