Roscommon Co. Representatives to Appear in Court Over Higgins Lake Levels

Roscommon County representatives will be in court on June 12 after some Higgins Lake homeowners decided to take legal action.

A circuit court judge issued a show cause order, which means the county will have to explain why they have not kept Higgins Lake’s water levels at the legal levels.

Some homeowners say it’s been low for the past several years and now they’ve decided to do something about it.

They say the low lake levels cause issues for boaters and other recreational activities.
