Troopers Investigating ‘Suspicious Deaths’ After Finding an Infant/Two Bodies and at Muskegon County Hotel

Michigan State Police say they are investigating suspicious deaths after finding two bodies and a baby at a Muskegon County hotel.

A trooper was dispatched to the Roadway Inn Hotel in Whitehall for a wellness check before noon on Friday.

Inside a room, they found the bodies of Christian Reed of Marne and Jessica Bramer of Grand Rapids.

Troopers also found a six-month-old in serious need of medical attention.

The child was flown to the Helen Devos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids and is still in critical condition.

Investigators believe the infant was alone in the room for multiple days.

The initial autopsy results on the two adults have not revealed an immediate cause of death.

Anyone who had contact with Reed or Bramer is asked to call MSP D/Sgt. Denise Bentley at (616) 866-4411
