Julie’s Story on Melanoma

Melanoma affects nearly 1 million people and one of those million is Julie.

Today is National Don’t Fry Day and we are ready to talk all things skin.

Julie has stage three melanoma and it all started with tanning at a tanning salon she says.

She is a mother, daughter, sister, friend, and wife, but more than that, she is a survivor.

Julie has one piece of advice for people and it is to never use tanning beds and only buy organic sunscreens without harmful chemicals.

Skin cancer is nothing to mess around about and we want all of you to stay safe this memorial day. So wear your sunscreen and stay protected with extra layers of clothing and sunglasses.
