Memorial Day is right around the corner and preparing food for this special day can be hard.

Dickeys Barbecue Pit in Traverse City is ready to help you delight your family with some of the best BBQ in the north.

They first started smoking BBQ since 1941 in Dallas, TX.

They have over 550 restaurants across the country and Andre Bushnell has been cooking at their Traverse City location two years ago.

The specialize in all things BBQ but hold special pride in their brisket and pulled pork which are of course fan favorites.

Laura said, “…my father-in-law wrote a cookbook and so we have all the family recipes, a few secrets in there but a lot of great stuff so get great BBQ from us but a lot you can do at home too.”

With family recipes passed down from generation to generation, CEO Laura Dickey loves to make up her favorites and share them with customers.

They do catering and for parties and big family meals as well as serve it up right at their Traverse City location off of E. Front Street.
