Yoga in Bloom is a class offered at Lavender Hill Farm in Boyne City where they take you out of the traditional yoga studio and put you in the middle of a beautiful lavender farm.

“The fact that we can practice in a space that has so much for you to listen, to see, to smell. It really just brings all the senses together and gives you a good inner and outer experience,” says Certified Yoga Instructor Raquel Kosloskey.

Colin Peterson says, “I believe that yoga is important for mindfulness and presence and moves the body in ways we don’t normally do in our daily lives.”

With summer right around the corner, our lives will become very busy. But finding the time to set aside to find your zen is always well worth it.

“It’s nice to have this time set aside so you can just relax, be outside, be with nature and let all the sounds that they head you can quiet your inner sounds that we tend to have,” says Raquel.

This unique opportunity is bringing people from across Northern Michigan together to celebrate life and purpose.

“Yoga centers me, it reminds me why I’m alive and that I’m happy to be alive, how verdant I am and how healthy I am,” Colin Peterson says.
