Going Public: Michael Cohen Search Warrants

The search warrants used in the investigation of President Trump’s former attorney, Michael Cohen will be public today.

A federal judge ruled the warrants used by Special Counsel Robert Mueller should be made public.

However there will be some redactions.

In total, Mueller used five search warrants to search Cohen’s emails and other related content in 2017.

The judge ruled in response to a lawsuit by CNN and other media outlets.

Cohen was a longtime trump confidante, who later implicated the president in a scheme to pay hush money.

He is now serving a three year prison sentence for financial crimes, campaign finance violations and lying to congress.
