U.S. Birth Rates at an All-Time Low

Birth rates in the U.S. have now hit their lowest mark in 32 years.

According to the CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention), birth rates are declining for women in their teens, twenties, and thirties.

Experts say that immigration patterns and the change in mindset on motherhood are to blame for this decline.

The birth rate has dropped two percent since 2017 which is the largest drop in history.

The U.S. population is not producing enough babies to replace itself and has not reached its replacement rate since 1971.

While population replacement is a concern, the more important factor is the number of jobs that will need to be filled by incoming generations.
