Iraq Under ‘Do Not Travel’ Warning

Developing news out of Iraq as the State Department has ordered all non-emergency U.S. government workers to leave the country.

They have also issued a do not travel warning for Iraq as part of a level four travel advisory, which is the highest level.

This is all due to rising tension in neighboring Iran.

The State Department noted the existence of many terror and insurgent groups in Iraq, as well as anti-American militias.

The department also warns that Washington’s ability to provide routine and emergency services to American citizens in Iraq is extremely limited.
