Adopt a Pet Tuesday: Ellie, Roxie & Kahlua

It’s Adopt a Pet Tuesday on Michigan This Morning!

This week we have Ellie, Roxie and Kahlua– just three of Northern Michigan’s many great, adoptable animals waiting for a loving family to take them home.

Say good morning to Ellie!

This sweet girl is a 12-year-old puggle with a few extra pounds, but nothing an exercise buddy can’t fix.

Ellie is great with both cats, dogs and anyone who is willing to love her.

She’s spayed and up-to-date on her shots.

You can find Ellie at the Great Lakes Humane Society in Traverse City.

Up next we have Roxie.

Roxie is a 2-year-old short-haired terrier mix.

This smiley lady loves belly rubs and giving kisses.

She is all up-to-date on vaccinations and is spayed.

She’s house trained and is great with older kids, but may knock the wee ones down.

Roxie would prefer a home without cats or smaller dogs.

To find Roxie, you can head over to Handds to The Rescue in Traverse City.

And last but not least, Kahlua.

This little cutie is 3-year-old short-haired tabby.

She is spayed and all up-to-date on vaccines.

Kahlua is a cat that loves both naps and attention.

She is house trained and a very calm cat, although she can be a bit wary of dogs.

If you are interested in adopting Kahlua, you can find her at the AuSable Valley Animal Shelter in Grayling.

Tune in to MTM each Tuesday at 5:20 a.m. and 8:50 a.m. for more lovable Northern Michigan pets in search of families of their own!
