Mike Pompeo Reroutes Trip from Moscow to Brussels, Still to Meet Putin

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo canceled a planned trip to Moscow.

Instead, he’s now headed to Brussels to meet with representatives from Great Britain, France and Germany.

While there, he’s expected to discuss several pressing issues, including growing tensions between the U.S. and Iran.

After his trip to Brussels, Pompeo will then fly to Sochi, Russia, to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin and other Russian leaders.

They’re also expected to talk about the issues with Iran, in addition to arms control, tensions with Ukraine and North Korea.
