Blossom Day Festivities

Northern Michigan is known for a few things but right at the top of the list is its cherries. The Old Mission peninsula has thousands of trees hoping to get just enough sunlight before the annual “Blossom Day” event taking place Saturday May 18.

Blossom Day is a celebration of spring and the wineries on Old Mission are celebrating by serving spring inspired dishes and wine. Chris Lopez, the Sales Manager for Black Star Farms says, “We’ll be serving a smoked crostini with smoked black truffle goat cheese with asparagus and our new release of 2018 Pinot Noir Rosé which is an incredible summer wine.”

Tickets are $30 which includes food and complimentary pours.
