Cheboygan Man Pleads Guilty to Drug Charges

A Cheboygan man accused of crashing into parked cars last fall admitted to some crimes.

Last August police responded to Spikes Keg O’ Nails in Grayling when someone crashed into several cars in the parking lot.

They say the driver, Gary Mero, had a large amount of meth, cocaine, and marijuana, along with seven guns.

On Monday he pleaded guilty to having a controlled substance, felony firearm, driving while drugged and having meth.

In exchange, charges of delivery and making meth were dropped.

Mero will learn his punishment next month.
