City of Cadillac to Discuss Next Steps in Cadillac Junction Lawsuit
The legal saga continues in Cadillac.
Monday night the city’s discussing what’s next in the Cadillac Junction lawsuit.
Cadillac Junction developers built a gas station and convenience store on the property on east M-55 and U.S. 131.
But progress stalled over land disputes between Cadillac and Clam Lake, and Haring townships.
Cadillac signed on to a settlement that would’ve given them jurisdiction over the land.
Last week Clam Lake Township rejected that settlement.
Now all parties are back to square one.
Cadillac City council members will meet with their attorney in a closed session Monday night to discuss what’s next.
