Woman Accused of Stealing Dump Truck Officially Charged

The woman accused of stealing a dump truck during a police chase in Clare County is now officially charged. 

Nicole Trotter faces charges for running and resisting police and being a repeat offender – fourth offense.

The sheriff’s office says they tried to arrest her on probation violation charges Sunday.

They say bodycam video shows her running away and getting into a dump truck at Walraven’s Market.

Deputies say Trotter then drove it through a fence and got away.

Police arrested her Tuesday after they say she tried to escape out a window at a home in Hayes Township.
