Mueller Objects to Barr’s Description of Russia Investigation Findings

New developments in the release of the Mueller report Tuesday night.

A Justice Department official says special counsel Robert Mueller criticized the way Attorney General William Barr summarized the findings of the Russian Investigation.

Mueller sent his frustrations to the Justice Department in a letter.

It came just days after Barr released a four-page letter summarizing the main conclusions of the investigation.

The Justice Department official says the two then spoke on the phone the next day.

Barr said in his summary that the investigation found no collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

He also said he did not suggest charges on obstruction of justice.

Under pressure a redacted version of the report was released to the public.

It gave a much more nuanced picture of Mueller’s findings.
