Northern Michigan Christian School Students Pack Food for the Hungry

Students of all grade levels at Northern Michigan Christian School spent a little time to make a big difference.

They packed food Tuesday for the Kids Coalition Against Hunger.

Some will go to disaster relief, third world countries and local McBain food pantries.

They pack these bags with food full of vitamins and nutrients.

One student says it’s great to see the preschoolers being able to help as well.

“Just spending a couple hours can make a really big difference and it doesn’t take much from us to serve people around the world and even in our own community,” said Anna Lanser, a junior at NMCS.

Their goal is to raise $5,600 to feed 20,000 starving kids.
