Ludington High School is being recognized for its excellence in an alternative learning program.
They implemented the Edmentum Online Learning Program back in 2014.
It’s a nationwide K through 12 program that provides credit courses and supplemental curriculum to help with individualized learning.
And now Edmentum has awarded the high school with the Rock Star Program award.
It’s the first given in the state of Michigan since 2012.
Since starting the program Ludington High School has seen its graduation rate jump from 88% to 97%.
