Traverse City Man’s Coworkers Organize Raffle to Cut off Beard for Charity

A local man is about to give up his beard in the name of charity to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House.

And his co-workers decided to make it into a big event.

Dean Councilor works for the Traverse City Transportation Association Drivers Union and plenty of people are itching to be the one to make that first cut of his facial hair.

If you want to get in on the action, $5 will get you a ticket into the raffle this Thursday at 1 p.m.

Every dollar will go to the Ronald McDonald House of Ann Arbor.

The organization provides a place to stay, food, support and more to parents of children who are hospitalized far from home.
