Free Comic Book Day is an annual national event at the beginning of May when numerous comic book publishers print special free issues to recognize fans and welcome new interest: this year’s big day will introduce 51 different titles! The Comic Book E.R. in Cadillac will be hosting the event for its 6th year, on May 4, with a brand new theme: Cadillac Can! Local artists, entrepreneurs, and small businesses are encouraged to come down and enjoy the day at the Mai Place Project along with all the guests coming for free comics.
Two titles this year have associated television shows airing on 9&10 News’ networks:
Bob’s Burgers on Local 32
and
Riverdale on The Northern Michigan CW32
Tune in to Michigan This Morning the first week of May as Regan and Stephanie preview Free Comic Book Day at the Comic Book E.R. in Cadillac, then come on into the store on Saturday. 9&10 News will be giving away some special swag from the CW to celebrate the community efforts at the store and the success of our shows. Stop in to The Comic Book E.R. to pick up posters and a chance at some special prizes along with your comics this May 4th!
