Redacted Version of Mueller Report Expected to be Released

A redacted version of the Mueller report is expected to be released Thursday morning.

The report covers the special counsel’s investigation into possible Russian interference during the 2016 presidential election.

Attorney General William Barr previously shared a four page summary of the 300 plus page report.

He wrote the special counsel found no evidence between the president’s campaign and the Russian government.

However, Barr also noted the report does no exonerate the president specifically on whether he committed obstruction of justice.

According to the New York Times their sources say justice department officials have worked with the president’s legal team to help plan a rebuttal to the report.

Barr is scheduled to hold a news conference to discuss the report.

A justice department official says the redacted version will be released between two to three hours later.
