Ogemaw, Iosco Counties Identified as Potential High-Risk Areas for Bovine TB

Michigan’s Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has identified a potential high-risk area for bovine tuberculosis.

The department says parts of Ogemaw County could be a potential high-risk area.

They say a free-ranging white-tailed deer tested positive for TB in Alcona County.

The department also gave the same designation to parts of Iosco County.

Herd owners in those areas are being contacted by the department to schedule testing.
