Volunteers Needed to Get Manistee’s Blossom Boulevard ‘Growing’

Snow and freezing rain are not ideal conditions for planting flowers, but we promise you it will happen, eventually.

This spring, you can volunteer your time to help plant the Blossom Boulevard in Manistee.

The group has been planting petunias along US-31 for more than 30 years and is looking for help from the entire community to keep the tradition alive.

The project was put on hold for a few years, but organizers are excited to get things “growing” again this year.

They need volunteers to help plant, weed and maintain the plants.

You can find more information by heading to the Manistee Blossom Boulevard’s Facebook page here.
