Take a look at this Wexford County road.

Pole Road between 31 and 27 Road in Cherry Grove Township is now closed as the road commission gets ready to make repairs.

The road commission says a culvert rusted out and now needs to be replaced.

That’s caused the road to look like this right now.

The road commission is currently waiting on information from miss dig before they can begin work.

They say they’ve had to replace several other culverts on the road over the last few years.

But, once the new culvert is in, the road commission expects it to last for quite some time.

“Most likely we’re going to put a concrete culvert back in. Most of the culverts on that road we’ve replaced a couple of times in the last 25-30 years, so in that area with concrete which we expect to be lifetime,” said Wexford County Road Commission Manager Al Cooper.

The road commission says the entire project should take about a week.
