The St. Ignace Home and Gun Show is in its ninth year and it is bigger than ever.

It started back in 2010 with just a couple dozen vendors.

That number has grown to nearly 100, nine years later.

Vendors from all across Northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula displayed their best Saturday.

From firearms to hot tubs, the Little Bear Arena was filled.

More than 2,000 people attended the event to meet face to face with companies whose products they are interested in.

The expo is different from many others.

“Ours are free. That brings in a lot of people, plus the variety we have here. We started with a home and garden and expanded it into a Spring Expo, which covers a wide range of areas,” said Kevin Campbell, an event organizer.

Campbell said an event like this is great for their small community as we say goodbye to winter and welcome in spring.
