Muskegon Heights Boy Fills Pot Holes After Mother’s Tire Damaged
How do you know you live in Michigan?
When even a 12 year old is so tired of the potholes he takes action into his own hands.
Monte Scott of Muskegon Heights worked to fill the potholes on his street with dirt and a shovel.
Scott’s counted 50 potholes on just one portion of the road, but the tipping point came when his mom’s tire fell victim to a crater at the end of his street.
A crew came through and finally finished the job he started.
When Governor Gretchen Whitmer heard of Monte’s story she wanted to meet him.
That’s now planned for Friday.
