Michigan State Police Arrest Both Suspects Connected to Montcalm Co. Shooting

Michigan State Police say they found and arrested two people they say are connected to a shooting in Montcalm County.

The shooting happened Thursday afternoon at a home on Bluebird Street in the Village of Lakeview.

Troopers say Andrea and Craig Lake were involved.

They say someone shot 61 year old John Hill in the back of the head.

Hill’s brother tells us he was still alive when he was taken to the hospital in Grand Rapids.

But right now, his condition is not known.

Investigators believe this was a targeted attack, possibly drug-related.

The suspects are now being held at the Montcalm County jail while they wait to be formally charged.
