Resources for Aging Adults in Wexford County

It can be tough to ease into aging, especially with how it affects lifestyle and health care.

From technology aid to in-home care and health care help, resources are available for Wexford County residents.

The offers free “Medicare Monday” workshops on the second Monday of each month. This is a chance for people 65 and older to learn the ABC’s and D of Medicare.

And for people who need help at home, the is available to people 60 and older for two hours every other week.

People who sign up can be serviced by a free and trained homemaker to help with light housekeeping, meal preparation and laundry.

Or if you need help remaining independent, for bathing, dressing, shaving and more can be provided with a sliding cost share based on household income and out of pocket medical expenses.
