Munson Nurses’ Union to Vote on New Contract Offer

A possible agreement between Munson and the nurses’ union is being put to a vote.

Nurses will vote on a new contract offer and should have a decision by this weekend.

The nurses unionized in August of 2017.

They spent about a year and a half negotiating with the hospital, and will vote on their first ever contract.

The tentative, three-year deal addresses things like scheduling, wages, overtime limits and benefits.

The Michigan Nurses Association says it expect voting will finish late tomorrow, with a decision announced by Sunday.
