Hook & Hunting: Fishing and Boating Laws

As temperatures slowly start to rise, you will want to listen to this if you are an angler or boater.

  • Clean boats, trailers and equipment.
  • Drain all water.
  • Dry your boats and equipment.
  • And dispose of unwanted bait in the trash.

Fisheries Biologist Mark Tonello says they are trying to get the word out.

“it’s just more awareness, we’re seeing these things spread constantly and we’re seeing fish kills occasionally because of it or other issues developing and the bottom line is we want to protect our waters as much as possible,” he says.
