New Information to be Released on Michael Cohen FBI Raid

We could be learning more about what led to an FBI raid on President Trump’s former lawyer, Michael Cohen.

On Tuesday, a partly-redacted version of the documents related to the raid will be released.

It comes after a federal judge granted a request from several media organizations to release the documents.

FBI officials raided Cohen’s office and home in April of last year.

They seized information related to Stephanie Cifford, better known as adult film actress Stormy Daniels.

Daniels says Cohen paid her $30,000 to stay quiet about an affair she claims she had with Donald Trump.

The president has denied those accusations.

Cohen faces a three year prison sentence for several crimes, including campaign finance violations.

He’s expected to report to prison on May 6.
