Two More Charged in Benzie County Prostitution Ring Bust

Continuing coverage on a prostitution ring busted in Benzie County.

Two more people have been charged in the investigation. 

The Traverse Narcotics Team says Kevin Bonney from Beulah hired a woman for sex last month.

They say the woman, Tonya Wynne, traveled from Muskegon to Bonney’s house in Benzie County.

Kenya Griffin, also from Muskegon, was with her.

Detectives say he was waiting outside of the house, armed with a hammer for protection.

Griffin is now charged with accepting money from prostitution.

Wynne is charged with engaging in prostitution, and Bonney is charged with hiring a woman for sex.

All three are also charged with using a computer to commit a crime.
