Petoskey High’s Paddleboard Project: A Raffle for Survivors

Some Petoskey High School students are using craft to connect with their community.

Jason Thelen worked with the class to build a one-of-a-kind board that’s made out of 60-year-old mahogany and Colorado aspen.

The Women’s Resource Center has 100 tickets available–$100 per ticket.

The raffle will be held May 23 at Petoskey High School.

The money earned will go towards helping support domestic abuse and sexual assault survivors.

Raffle tickets will be available at the Women’s Resource Center 423 Porter Street, Petoskey.

Tickets will also be at both Gold Mine Resale Shops and Petoskey Cheese.
