Five People Arrested After Major Drug Bust in Benzie County

There was a major methamphetamine bust that left five people arrested on drug related charges in Benzie County.

Michigan State Police say the Traverse Narcotics Team served a search warrant for a home in Beulah last Thursday.

When they entered the home, they say they saw several people actively injecting meth.

They say one man overdosed.

They immediately took that man to a hospital.

Police say they found nearly eight ounces of crystal meth and took over $8,000 in suspected drug money.

Police arrested Ronald Snyder, Paul Nanni, Martin Gregorski, Lottie Zavala-Aguilar and Michelle Conrad on drug related charges.

“Eight ounces is a large amount of methamphetamine that would’ve gone to a lot of different users potentially. It could’ve caused other significant overdoses or health problems in that community,” said Lt. Travis House with the Michigan State Police.
