UPDATE: University of Michigan Says All Clear, No Threat To Community

 

University of Michigan officials just before 8:00 PM Saturday said the campus is safe and there is no threat.

The University of Michigan’s Department of Public Safety and Security says “there does not appear to be an active threat to the community.”

U-M DPSS said there were unconfirmed reports of an active shooter and for people to stay away from the area of Mason Hall just after 5 PM Saturday.

The department says officers are currently checking the area.
