Michigan State Police to Crack Down on Drunk Driving St. Patrick’s Day Weekend

As the pints get poured on St. Patrick’s Day, state police will be cracking down on drunk driving this weekend.

St. Patrick’s Day typically comes with indulgence and state troopers across Northern Michigan will have extra patrols on the road all weekend long.

But it’s not just drunk drivers they are looking for, they’re keeping an eye out for people over-served in general.

That’s why police say designated drivers also need to be cautious.

Police also say you should stay with your group and try to avoid going out alone.
