Last year, 20 people from Northern Michigan went on a medical mission to the Philippines and saw about 1,000 patients a day.
Now they’ve doubled their numbers and are headed back to help fill the overwhelming need.
The upcoming medical mission will be making life a little bit better for people with little access to medical care.
And you can help.
Amy Albrite and Lindsey McCrum are both nurses preparing to make the big trip a second time. They called it a “life-changing” event.
But this life-changing trip has a goal to raise at least $15,000 for expenses.
The next silent auction will be at the Workshop Brewing Co. in August, and another will be at Right Brain Brewery in October.
