Northern Michigan Lawmaker Proposes a Bill to do Away With Daylight Saving

This Sunday is the beginning of daylight saving time.

While you’re sleep schedule might change, one Northern Michigan lawmaker wants to do away with time change altogether.

State Representative Michele Hoitenga from Manton has proposed a bill that would not end daylight saving time, but keep the state in it all the time.

She says the reason behind it is because the time change has a bad impact on students and workers in Michigan, saying it impacts their work.

Right now the House bill is heading to the Commerce and Tourism Committee for consideration.
