Man Sentenced to Prison for Robbing Oscoda County Pharmacy

The man who admitted to robbing an Oscoda County pharmacy last year will spend more than six years in prison. 

Benjamin Barron Jr. will spend six to 40 years in prison.

He admitted to the armed robbery, but said he was mentally ill at the time.

Last may he held up the Pioneer Family Pharmacy with a gun.

Barron barricaded himself inside the pharmacy for six hours before surrendering.
